Goals? Resolutions? Burning pictures of mistakes past? All of the above? Yeah, that last one feels right. 2024 was good to me. I had a Hell of a Kickstarter campaign, my Gambling on Common Sense novel went live on Amazon, and I got engaged in Italy to a beautiful man who can cook like nobody’s business.

All in all, not a bad time this past year. There are a lot of things behind me and so much more to come. I can’t wait for this July when Ryan and I will be tying the knot, but at the same time, life is coming at me so fast. Books, work, love, and family. It’s true things all seem to happen at once. I don’t know everything tomorrow holds in store, but I know that I’ve the man beside me who will help me through it. Oh and I know that this gym membership I’ve just purchased will be used for at least the first month effectively!
Anyhow, hope this past year has treated you well too. Better yet, I hope that you have the people you love to share this next year with. All we have in the end is our time, don’t waste it on anyone less.
Time is a cycle and it’s great to see you again,
L. Briar
