Uncommon Advice: Don’t Feed the Doomirage Wildlife

“Something fast rips through the air overhead. A violent wind rocks our shuttle. Facing skyward, I see a silhouette with a six-meter wingspan. With the sun passing through its semi-transparent wings, prismatic colors wash over our shuttle. Its lean body is built like a cat, but way less fluffy, with a horned reptilian face and twin barbed tails. From its lofty position, it snarls at us.

‘Spirit Beast,’ Natasha whispers reverently. Not the vibe I’d suggest. Terror. Yeah, terror feels more appropriate given the pit that just opened in my stomach. The beast flexes its me-sized claws as it dives at us.”
