Time is supposed to be linear but I sure do like splashing around in the wrong spot. Pardon the belated Happy New Years post! It’s been a long time coming and there’s a lot to reflect on. This year I created my second science fiction & fantasy short story book Porcelain Reads: The Number Two. Very proud to say I’ll have another short story book out later this year to continue my trend. I’ve started my first submissions to science fiction & fantasy online magazines and gotten my first rejections too. I like the practice and there is a freedom to failing. It gives me permission to keep trying even though my first attempt didn’t go perfectly.
There is a vision I have of where my future will go and who I’ll become. Resolutions are made, broken, remade, but most importantly strived after. I’m still striving and, honestly, I’m revealing in that feeling. I don’t have a story to leave you all with but in the interim let me leave you some music.
